OH BOY!!

Ok it has been a loooooooooong time since I last posted. WOW!What a primary! Talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly! I saw so many things that actually made me ashamed of the democratic party. You see, I have always thought the DNC was better than the republicans. However I have found we have people just as warped in our midst. Everything from hearing Obama might have terrorist ties , Hillary not only has ties she is Satan, John Edwards only cared about his career not his dying wife, Hillary is the stalker from "Fatal Attraction", Dennis Kucinch is UFO crazy, Biden is a sell out, Richardson is Judas, a website "edwards08.com" that when you went to it sent you straight to the Obama for President site, Obama is muslim and has a terrorist/Arabic name (that one made me crazy! WHO gets to choose their name?), democrats being told they are not part of the New Democratic Coalition, and too many more things to count. These are things that we should NOT be proud of no matter what side you were on. Now, the thing is to getting everyone to see that people in their campaigns did things that were not good for the party. NO Campaign has clean hands in this mess. The sooner people acknowledge that the better we will be. Right now both Clinton and Obama supporters feel they have been wrong. Some of it actual some of it not. The really sad part is when you get people that are trying to let this primary go. These are people trying to move forward and focus on the fight to win in November and then they are called nuts, crazies, sheep, etc. for supporting Clinton. I am sorry but that is not the best way to get people to vote for your candidate. It simply sounds like this "I hate you. You are stupid. You backed a loser and you are one too. You still like your candidate so you must be crazy. Oh, one more thing, PLEASE come over and hang out with me and vote for MY candidate because we are such kind, caring, good people as long as you do as we say!" And then they wonder "WHY are people not wanting to vote for our guy????"

WTH???

OK, So McCain goes to Iraq and stolls the streets of Baghdad. All is well. All is safe. Well, at least it is if you have 100 soldiers protecting you, 3 blackhawks, and bullet proof vest. But my take on McCain's stroll and comments afterward, that Baghdad is safe enough we can walk down the streets without being blown up anymore , is quite simple. IF it is SAFE over there NOW ...THEN SEND OUR TROOPS HOME! How is that for Mission Accomplished?

Supreme "HIGH" Court

With so many real problems and real issues I find myself asking "What is going on with the USSC?". There are serious issues out there no matter which side you are on. There is ALWAYS the abortion issue, habeas corpus issue, torture issue , imminent domain issue, and of course illegal wiretapping/warrantless search issues. Yet our USSC manages to find time for not only Anna Nicole Smith but now they have time for the bong! 'Bong Hits for Jesus' Yup, the USSC has decided to throw its hat into the ring on the case about a banner that stated "Bong Hits 4 Jesus". Of course they are playing this as a free speech issue. I say lets make it a 2fer! Decide on the free speech and then let us know what you think about bongs. Considering some of the past decisions of this court I find myself wondering how many times they have "Hit the Bong 4 Jesus".

Corker wants to talk with Iran and Syria

Oh Boy!!! Now this is good. The newly elected republican Senator of TN Bob Corker has decided that it would be best to talk with Iran and Syria.
On Face the Nation Sen. Corker stated "I know it's disconcerting. Syria may have played a role in Lebanon, recently, in a way that's very destructive, obviously, with the governmental leader that was just killed. We'll find out whether that's true or not," he said. "But the fact is that, even though they are our enemies in many regards, we have to engage people in the region. The fact is they're neighboring countries. They have people that are in and out of the country."
So much for the whole "you are either with us or against us" BS! I mean this guy is calling Iran and Syria our enemy and asking for their help in the same breath. Does this man have multiple personalities or is he just really confused? TN has gone from the video Dr. Frist to this guy who says you are our enemy now help us clean up this mess we made!! Will TN ever learn?

Brazilian Mayor

I will try to type this without laughing. In Brazil a mayor, that is trying to stop infidelity, is giving out free Viagra. The name of this wonderful plan is called "Pinto Alegre". And what a kind mayor to give out such medication. Upon hearing this news , I am quite sure Rush Limbaugh was packing his backs again! However, there is a "small" catch. The viagra is not given to the men of the community that sign up for the program. Oh no, that would be too easy! This mayor , he is giving it to the WIFE!!!!!

Political Free Speech

After receiving an email from a blogger , Mike, I was given a different view point on what had previously been posted here. He was right. Freedom of Speech is also meant for bloggers. That doesn't just mean the freedom to say whatever they want but also to delete and ignore what they want as well. It is THEIR blog. It is THEIR choice. And what they choose to leave posted is a reflection on them. So, I hope I have fixed this. If not, I hope Mike or someone else will let me know what to add to improve it. I can only speak for my blog and the truth is there probably will be post/email that will get deleted. There maybe post that I don't give the reader personal credit for simply because I don't know if they would like it or not. On a final note, it totally bites to be wrong!!

Bush FINALLY GOES to Vietnam

WOW!! Only 40 years late! This man shocks me daily with his newer deeper level of stupidity. Just when you think he can't say anything worse along comes, "We'll succeed unless we quit." Yup that is what Bush said, shortly after arriving in Vietnam, while reflecting on the lessons learned from the Vietnam war in regard to the current Iraq war.
"We will succeed unless we quit." WOW. It appears this man LEARNED NOTHING from the VIETNAM WAR that he didn't go to. 58,229 men died in Vietnam. 40 years later and still no one can give us a decent reason why . Now we have 2,863 troops KIA in Iraq.
"We will succeed unless we quit." Yes, I feel a SCREAM coming on. No, we will be screwed UNLESS YOUR DADDY can figure out a way to get YOU out of this WAR TOO!!!
