Supreme "HIGH" Court

With so many real problems and real issues I find myself asking "What is going on with the USSC?". There are serious issues out there no matter which side you are on. There is ALWAYS the abortion issue, habeas corpus issue, torture issue , imminent domain issue, and of course illegal wiretapping/warrantless search issues. Yet our USSC manages to find time for not only Anna Nicole Smith but now they have time for the bong! 'Bong Hits for Jesus' Yup, the USSC has decided to throw its hat into the ring on the case about a banner that stated "Bong Hits 4 Jesus". Of course they are playing this as a free speech issue. I say lets make it a 2fer! Decide on the free speech and then let us know what you think about bongs. Considering some of the past decisions of this court I find myself wondering how many times they have "Hit the Bong 4 Jesus".

Corker wants to talk with Iran and Syria

Oh Boy!!! Now this is good. The newly elected republican Senator of TN Bob Corker has decided that it would be best to talk with Iran and Syria.
On Face the Nation Sen. Corker stated "I know it's disconcerting. Syria may have played a role in Lebanon, recently, in a way that's very destructive, obviously, with the governmental leader that was just killed. We'll find out whether that's true or not," he said. "But the fact is that, even though they are our enemies in many regards, we have to engage people in the region. The fact is they're neighboring countries. They have people that are in and out of the country."
So much for the whole "you are either with us or against us" BS! I mean this guy is calling Iran and Syria our enemy and asking for their help in the same breath. Does this man have multiple personalities or is he just really confused? TN has gone from the video Dr. Frist to this guy who says you are our enemy now help us clean up this mess we made!! Will TN ever learn?

Brazilian Mayor

I will try to type this without laughing. In Brazil a mayor, that is trying to stop infidelity, is giving out free Viagra. The name of this wonderful plan is called "Pinto Alegre". And what a kind mayor to give out such medication. Upon hearing this news , I am quite sure Rush Limbaugh was packing his backs again! However, there is a "small" catch. The viagra is not given to the men of the community that sign up for the program. Oh no, that would be too easy! This mayor , he is giving it to the WIFE!!!!!

Political Free Speech

After receiving an email from a blogger , Mike, I was given a different view point on what had previously been posted here. He was right. Freedom of Speech is also meant for bloggers. That doesn't just mean the freedom to say whatever they want but also to delete and ignore what they want as well. It is THEIR blog. It is THEIR choice. And what they choose to leave posted is a reflection on them. So, I hope I have fixed this. If not, I hope Mike or someone else will let me know what to add to improve it. I can only speak for my blog and the truth is there probably will be post/email that will get deleted. There maybe post that I don't give the reader personal credit for simply because I don't know if they would like it or not. On a final note, it totally bites to be wrong!!

Bush FINALLY GOES to Vietnam

WOW!! Only 40 years late! This man shocks me daily with his newer deeper level of stupidity. Just when you think he can't say anything worse along comes, "We'll succeed unless we quit." Yup that is what Bush said, shortly after arriving in Vietnam, while reflecting on the lessons learned from the Vietnam war in regard to the current Iraq war.
"We will succeed unless we quit." WOW. It appears this man LEARNED NOTHING from the VIETNAM WAR that he didn't go to. 58,229 men died in Vietnam. 40 years later and still no one can give us a decent reason why . Now we have 2,863 troops KIA in Iraq.
"We will succeed unless we quit." Yes, I feel a SCREAM coming on. No, we will be screwed UNLESS YOUR DADDY can figure out a way to get YOU out of this WAR TOO!!!

Run, Forrest RUN

Run, Forrest...I mean RUDY Run!! Please Rudy Giuliani RUN!! I can't wait to see this man try to run in the south. Rudy is going to take away your guns, allow you to marry your fishing buddy Bubba, and incase you get your sister pregnant he is going to keep abortion legal!
Now, Rudy might have some competition with the video Dr. Frist. Of course , if Frist thought Terri Schiavo was just fine, he would believe he could be President. I swear if it was not the truth it would be quite funny.
That leaves John McCain. OH John! John could have been really great honestly. BUT THEN...he put his head so far up bush's ass we could not tell where Bush ended and John began. What happened?? The Maverick became the yes man. It is just very very sad. No, I do not think this broken man will have the support needed to become President.
Who else will the Republicans run? I don't know. Who else will not be in Jail, Just leaving Jail, or Just about to enter Jail? I mean who isn't involved with abramoff? bribes? corruption? trying to get it on with 16 yr old pages? covering up for the congressman trying to get it on with 16 yr old pages? OH I know the Republicans can run DON SHERWOOD. I mean all he has to do is say his mistress is an enemy combatant so it is OK to choke her!

San Francisco Values

Geez Louise!! Let the crying stop! Yes, Democrats are now going to be the controlling power in the Congress. Since Republicans are supposed to be so brave and strong will they PLEASE , for the love of God, STOP WHINNING!! If I hear "Nancy Pelosi and her San Francisco values." one more time I am going to scream (again!). Is San Francisco NO LONGER a part of the USA?? What are they REALLY saying? Nancy Pelosi and those homos in San Francisco. Yup it is about the gays and gay marriage. OH the horrors! I suppose they would not like it too much if people talked about Sen Bill Frist and his Nashville values. Oh yeah, can we say "Deliverance"?? How would the southern leaders like to be referred to as representing the inbreeding , no shoes, no shirt, and no education constituents? Well, that would not be nice. No, it would not, just like it is not polite to say "Nancy Pelosi and those San Francisco values".
San Francisco is just like any other major city in the USA. And so are the people that live there. The people that live there are just trying to take care of their families, their friends, the people they love, and their country.

Looks like Sen. Trent Lott is BACK! Sen. Lamar Alexander lost it appears by one vote. That's 2 losses for TN because Corker certainly was not a win for the people of TN. Now they have a Junior Republican Senator from TN that ran the sleaziest campaign ad. Yeah , I am sure the Democrats are going to be jumping to help him. Corker will be lucky if they let him in the building!
